Overgrowth syndrome describes a miscolonization of the small intestine, also
known as small intestinal miscolonization. These include SIBO (Small Intestinal
Bacterial Overgrowth) and IMO (Intestinal Methanogen Overgrowth), in which
bacteria or methane-forming agents multiply excessively in the small intestine.
Typical symptoms are flatulence, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, often
in varying degrees. A breath gas test is often used for diagnosis, which can
provide indications of bacterial or methane-forming miscolonization.

The OGS formula for the treatment of overgrowth syndrome, which contains
valuable essential oils, can be used as an accompaniment and support.
Essential oils have a germicidal effect and can help reduce the excessive microbial
load in the small intestine. At the same time , they massively strengthen the
mucous membranes and support their natural protective and regenerative
function.
